At DTFSupplies.com.au, customer satisfaction is our priority. We stand by the quality of our products and aim to make your purchasing experience as smooth and transparent as possible. This policy outlines the conditions for refunds, returns, and exchanges for both online and offline purchases.
1. Returns & Exchanges (Change of Mind)
If you have changed your mind about a purchase, the following conditions apply:
Consumables & Accessories
- Eligible for return within 14 days of purchase.
- Items must be unused, unopened, and in original, resaleable packaging.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all "change of mind" returns.
- Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Printers, Equipment & Software
- Due to the technical nature of these products, all sales are final once the packaging is opened or the software is activated.
- Print heads and software licenses are strictly non-refundable once sold/installed.
Custom Orders
Custom-made or specially ordered items are not eligible for return or exchange unless they are found to be faulty.
2. Faulty Items & Consumer Guarantees
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure.
- Defective Items: If an item is faulty or does not match the description, it may be eligible for repair, replacement, or refund subject to inspection.
- Inspection: We reserve the right to assess the condition of returned goods prior to offering a remedy.
3. Warranty
All eligible equipment includes a 6-month limited manufacturer’s warranty.
- Coverage: Covers manufacturer defects only.
- Exclusions: Warranty strictly excludes consumables (ink, film, powder), user-inflicted damage, lack of maintenance, and print heads.
- Claims: Warranty claims must be submitted via email with proof of purchase, a detailed description, and photos/videos of the issue.
4. Refund Process
- Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
- Notification: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status within 5 business days.
- Timeline: Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
5. In-Store Purchases
- Returns and exchanges follow the same conditions as online orders.
- You must present the original tax invoice/receipt.
- Refunds will be processed via the same method used for payment.
